The Dealer Auction allows the dealership to both buy and sell vehicles. No matter what the condition, all cars can generate competitive bidding. This is achieved through our highly skilled auctioneers who are trusted and respected professionals. When you deal with the Greater Cleveland Auto Auction you have the assurance of professional merchandising and sales provided by a trustworthy and respected organization.

AUCTION POLICIES
  • All "if sales" will be designated "buyers if" or "sellers if."
  • Sellers if - Sellers option to take or reject bid paid.
  • Buyer or seller must have copy of contract to present at gate before vehicle can be removed from premise.
  • All sales are final when the vehicle leaves the auction grounds.
  • Auction does not guarantee year or model of trucks or foreign cars or customized vehicles.
  • You must be registered with the auction and have clearance before buying or selling.
  • Warning: Odometer tampering or turn-backs forbidden. Strict management policy against violators will be enforced with termination of auction privileges.
  • Any vehicle removed from our auction will be assessed a $25 per day storage fee.
SELLER TERMS
  • Reserved numbers are the responsibility of the seller. Numbers will help only until 11:00 a.m. on sale day. No exceptions.
  • Entry fee must be paid before vehicle will be offered for sale.
  • Major body damage, frame repair, vehicle rebuilding, and flood cars must be announced on all vehicles selling for over $2500.
  • Paint, body work, and windshields must be announced on current and one-year-old models.
  • Commercial vehicles, including police, city, county, and state vehicles must be announced at time of sale.
BUYER TERMS
  • Auction does not guarantee warranty books.
  • Visible defects including windshields on two year and older models are the buyer's responsibility.
  • Buyers should drive vehicles and satisfy themselves as to condition, then either pay for them or register them in arbitration within 1 hour. First $500 is buyer's responsibility.
  • Buyer must initiate arbitration before leaving sale. Any problems after leaving the auction grounds are between buyer and seller.
  • Arbitration decision as to estimated cost of repair and determining buyer or seller responsibility for a specific problem will be final and supported by management.
